Cognisance taken over Kulgam viral video, DIG South Kashmir to conduct inquiry: Police | KNO

Srinagar, Mar 17 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday said they have taken cognisance of a viral video from Kulgam circulating on social media, stating that deputy inspector general of police South Kashmir will conduct an inquiry and submit the report within 10 days. In a post on X, Police, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) stated that a video had surfaced on social media concerning a police officer's conduct with the public in Kulgam. "We have taken cognisance of yesterday's incident and the allegations regarding the officer's conduct," it said. It added that the DIG South Kashmir Range (SKR) will conduct an inquiry and submit his findings within 10 days—(KNO)
